It’s been 17 days since Tony Romo issued his emotional good bye to Dallas Cowboys fans and yet as of right now he hasn’t actually gone anywhere.
So if you think that he might be starting to get annoyed with the delay in his being able to move on to greener pastures it sounds as if you are correct.
At least if the latest reports are to be believed…
Tony Romo has taken situation very personally in Dallas and has distanced himself from teammates and coach who were "Team Dak" per source.

Just shows you the scope of where his head is at. He feels his team was taken from him. Struggling to grasp that as anyone would

The fact that after all Romo has done as a Cowboy he is (a) not being given any chance of starting and (b) not being released or traded has got to be frustrating.
he should be allowed to compete for the starting job at a minimum, everything in this league is earned not given #Competition

Really odd why Jerry is holding Romo hostage at this point. Trade ain't happening. https://t.co/ibCHE07kEd

per source, Cowboys will not ask for bonus money back if Tony Romo retires https://t.co/QVelZgyeZC

It has been reported that Romo will either play for the Houston Texans, who are knee deep in HOT QBs with Tom Savage and Brandon Weeden as their top two, or head for the broadcast booth.
I had some talks about Romo today. Broncos haven’t closed door but not pursuing. I’m told Romo believes it’s Texans or retirement for 2017.

Texans coach Bill O’Brien doesn’t sound too concerned though, reports NFL.com…
“Well first of all, Tony is under contract so he’s a Dallas Cowboy,” Texans coach Bill O’Brien said. “We feel like, right now, we have two quarterbacks that’ll be there on April 17, the beginning of our offseason program. It’ll be Tom Savage and Brandon Weeden. We are really looking forward to working with those guys. Both those guys can throw the football.”
O’Brien has actually watched Brandon Weeden play, right?
Oh well, there’s always the option of Jay Cutler and his naked butt available if the whole Romo thing doesn’t work out for the Texans, I suppose.
