In the world of NFL wide receivers, top-five lists can often be a bit of a mixed bag.
Some players let their biases and egos cloud their judgment, while others just seem to miss the mark entirely.
In this case, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has managed to put together a pretty solid list, and it’s definitely worth taking note of.
During a previous appearance on Von Miller’s podcast, Voncast, Mike revealed his top five wide receivers in the NFL.
And here they are:
- Raiders Davante Adams
- Bills Stefon Diggs
- Vikings Justin Jefferson
- Dolphins Tyreek Hill
- Bengals Ja’Marr Chase
Not a bad lineup at all. It’s clear that Evans has done his homework and given this some serious thought.
But he didn’t stop there. Mike also shared his top four most underrated wide receivers:
- Commanders Terry McLaurin
- Buccaneers Chris Godwin
- Bills Gabe Davis
- Charger Mike Williams

It’s always interesting to get the perspective of a fellow player, and Evans seems to have a good eye for talent.
Who knows, maybe he has a future in sports commentary if he keeps these takes coming. We’ll have to wait and see.
