After a week off, the Colorado Buffaloes have a chance to stake their claim as a real contender to win the Big 12 championship on Saturday when they host 18th-ranked Kansas State.
And superstar two-way player Travis Hunter is geared up for the game with a pair of must-see, blacked-out studded cleats.
Hunter had the cleats custom-made by TikTok user Eric B., who revealed that the cleats took him nine hours to put together.

“Out of all the cleats I’ve made for Travis, these have definitely been the most time-consuming,” he said in the video. “So just know, this 40-second video you’re watching actually too nine-plus hours to make…and I still have to make two other pair of studdeds. They’re gonna be gold and silver, so they’ll be a lot more shiny than these dull black.”
Despite the creator calling them dull, fans were all about Hunter’s new studded cleats on social media.
“Travis gon click his heels 3 times and end up in the end zone every time! He definitely jumping every route on defense either way these,” one fan wrote.
“Bro going for 200 yards 3 TD’s and a pick 6,” said another.
Travis Hunter Has Taken His Game To A New Level In 2024
Hunter’s second season in Boulder has been nothing short of outstanding. Through five games he has 46 catches for 561 yards and six touchdowns. Last season, he caught 57 passes for 721 yards and five touchdowns across nine games played.
He’s also picked off two passes this season after recording three interceptions last year.
Hunter is, undeniably, one of a kind. He plays nearly every snap for the Buffaloes and never seems to get tired. He’s a top-10 2025 NFL Draft prospect on either side of the ball and teams and has already made both believers and haters of former NFL stars.
With a big game on Saturday against the Wildcats, he could also solidify his spot atop the Heisman Trophy race entering the second half of the season.
