Audio Of Travis Kelce Yelling At Andy Reid During Super Bowl Believed To Have Been Blocked From Being Released By Chiefs

We may never find out what exactly Travis Kelce said to Andy Reid during his infamous blowup on the sidelines during the Super Bowl.

Two weeks ago, a frustrated Kelce went viral when he was seen yelling at his coach after a Chiefs turnover.

Both Kelce and Reid downplayed the incident after the team’s win.

“(Travis Kelce said) just put me in, I’ll score. So, that’s really what it was. I love that. I mean, it’s not the first time, so I appreciate it,” Reid told the media.

Kelce joked that he was telling Reid that he loved him.

“Imma keep it between us … I was just telling him how much I love him.”

According to the NY Post’s Ryan Glasspeigel, a couple of people extremely plugged into the media business believe that the Chiefs had the audio of Kelce yelling at Reid blocked from being used on “Inside The NFL’.

Two people highly plugged into the sports media business told The Post that they suspect the Chiefs blocked NFL Films — which captures the mic’d up audio — and “Inside the NFL” from airing the direct Kelce soundbite, with one saying he thought that this edict came from Reid.

A rep for “Inside the NFL” declined to comment, and reps for the Chiefs and NFL Media (which operates NFL Films) did not respond to requests for comment by The Post.

It’s not surprising that the Chiefs wouldn’t want the audio of Kelce ripping into Reid from being released, but it would have been cool for a historic soundbite to have been preserved for fans.
