Travis Kelce made it pretty clear he wasn’t on board with the anti-monarchical rant his brother Jason went on during a recent episode of their podcast, and that clip has gone viral now that we’ve been given some context courtesy of what transpired after the Chiefs tight end headed to London to link up with Taylor Swift and a few very notable names.
You never know what’s going to unfold when Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce team up for the New Heights show, a platform the high-profile pair of brothers has routinely used to chime in on the NFL as well as the many, many other random topics that end up getting discussed during their fairly freewheeling conversations.
During the episode that dropped on June 19th, the Kelce Bros. were talking about Father’s Day during a segment where Jason detailed how the holiday is celebrated in Thailand, where some citizens go out of their way to engage in community service as a way to “honor the king’s legacy of generosity and kindness.”
Thailand is one of the 43 countries on the planet that are currently classified as a monarchy, and Jason made his thoughts on that particular form of government very clear when he bluntly stated, “We’re Americans. We don’t do royalty, so f— kings” during a brief aside.
However, it was pretty clear Travis did not agree with that particular sentiment based on how he reacted, as he very clearly tried to get his brother to move on before issuing a much more moderate stance on the subject while nonetheless echoing the general sentiment.
Jason Kelce: f*ck Kings
Travis Kelce: (panicking as he knows who he’s about to meet) not ‘f*ck Kings’ but just not into it.

So why, you may ask, was Travis so animated when Jason went the “F— Kings” route? Well, it probably has something to do with what transpired when he made the trek to London to join Taylor Swift during her three-night run at Wembley Stadium.
The first of those shows took place on Friday, which just so happened to be the 42nd birthday of Prince William—the man who is next in line to take the throne currently occupied by King Charles III.
It’s safe to assume Swift—and, in turn, Kelce—knew he was going to be in attendance well in advance, and Travis (who appeared in the selfie Taylor snapped with William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte) was likely doing everything in he could to stop Jason from going on an anti-monarchy diatribe based on the nature of the looming event on his social calendar.
Thankfully, it looks like it all worked out in the end.
