It’s been a banner few days for NBA players. Huge contracts have been given out left and right after free agency started Friday afternoon, and, a lot of players have signed deals they could only dream of just a few years ago. One of those players was Tyrese Haliburton.
The fourth-year guard out of Iowa State has more than lived up to his billing as the 12th overall pick in the 2020 draft. After starting his career with the Sacramento Kings, he was moved just before the trade dealine in the 2021-2022 season as the centerpiece return for the Pacers in the Domantas Sabonis trade.
He’s blossomed in Indiana from a good to great player. Tyrese Haliburton made his first all-star game this year, and averaged just over 20 points and just over 10 assists a game for Pacers this year. And, at only 23 years old, it makes sense why the Pacers wanted to sign him to a big extension. That’s what they did.

So, what does one do to celebrate getting paid a ton of money? Well. Tyrese Haliburton threw a massive party, with a big sign that says “260” included. Take a look at these pictures from his college sweetheart and mother of his child, Jade Jones.
The fake $100 bills with his face on them are a nice touch.
