Van Jefferson had a very special Sunday. Not only did Jefferson win the Super Bowl on Sunday, but he also became a father.
In the third quarter of the Bengals-Rams game, NFL Network reporter Bridget Condon reported that she saw Jefferson’s wife, Samaria, leaving the stadium on a stretcher.
I'm pretty sure I just saw Van Jefferson's wife leaving the stadium on a stretcher about to have their baby. Talk about dedication.

NFL insider Mike Garofalo confirmed Condon’s report.
That was indeed Van Jefferson’s pregnant wife Samaria our Bridget saw leaving SoFi Stadium and headed to the hospital, as her husband and his #Rams teammates try to pull off a Super Bowl comeback. https://t.co/9Pddulza5v

As soon as the game ended, Jefferson rushed to the hospital to be with his wife during labor.
Van Jefferson grabbed his daughter as she and his dad came into the field and sprinted through the locker room and is heading to the hospital right now. Samaria, his wife, is having their son and was rushed to the hospital mid-game as she went into labor.
