WNBA fans are not happy about some of the recent mainstream coverage the sport is getting.
On Sunday afternoon, Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky faced off against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever for the second time this season in a huge showcase game for the WNBA.
During the game, Reese went viral when she was assessed a flagrant foul for hitting Clark upside the head while attempting to block her shot.

Reese went on to call the foul a “basketball play” and blasted the refs for calling it a fragrant.
“It was a basketball play. I can’t control the refs. They affected the game obviously a lot today.”
“I’m always going for the ball. Y’all are going to play that clip 20 times before Monday.”

WNBA fans are not happy with the mainstream media coverage Reese’s foul on Clark is getting.
MSM profits by dividing us. No flagrant 1 in a basketball game deserves coverage on CNN unless you have an agenda to push. https://t.co/E5idWoJukC

Not to be hyperbolic, but the way media is continuing to go down this road is very dangerous for Angel Reese. It’s time to put the brakes on this. We’ve seen the type of people congregating around Caitlin Clark. What media outlets are doing for ratings is a dangerous game. https://t.co/jpYXz0w5Ti
