The MLB offseason is in full swing as teams across the league are signing players and making trades. New York Yankees rumors are heating up as well, as it sounds like the team offered Aaron Judge a massive new contract. Even so, the fanbase is concerned it’s just not enough to keep him in New York.
Talkin’ Yanks shares Jeff Passan’s report of the Yankees offering Judge around eight-year $300 million. After breaking the homerun record in a season, Aaron Judge is due to sign a massive contract.

However, the catch is that Judge is a free agent. Other teams are going to be able to make offers as well if he chooses not to re-sign with the Yankees. Considering how many teams could use a big bat, the fanbase is concerned that New York didn’t offer enough to keep their superstar outfielder.
He risked $213 million to play with no deal, and had a historic MVP season. He better tell them to take a hike with their $300 million and ask for at least $325 on principle.

The best thing for the Yankees is for Aaron Judge to sign the contract. Otherwise, next season could be a bit more challenging.
Might sound crazy, but it could be surprisingly difficult to find 3-4 players for 37.5 mil who could bring as much of an impact as Judge.

This could actually get the deal done.
it needs to be 350/8 year. And with yearly incentive bring it up to 375.

Then there’s this.
That’s not even a full 100 million pay raise like everyone is projecting he’d get…

Keep an eye on Aaron Judge throughout the offseason. It’s unclear where he’ll sign. But at least the Yankees have an offer on the table.
