There are very few things that remind me that I’m alive more than cracking open a cold one on a summer day. Whether it be on a beach or back patio, nothing tells me life is good like DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince’s Summertime playing over the sound of burgers hitting the grill, a good friend or three, and a fully stocked cooler of ice cold adult libations within arms reach of my hammock.
These are the memories worth photographing. But the pictures never due those idyllic afternoons justice and I’ve finally figured out why. A.) Yes, I’m an ugly man B.) I don’t do myself favors wearing a ratty old t-shirt from sleep away camp I went to before I sprouted my first pube. I never make an effort to look how I feel.
